Health and Safety Management System
Our Health and Safety Policy, along with our Safety Management Standards (SMS) underpins the development and application of rigorous health and safety systems and standards at the corporate and site levels.
These SMS provide clear guidelines and expectations for managing health and safety, addressing hazards through identification, assessment, and control to minimise risks.
The Health and Safety Policy and SMS are core elements of our RMS Mine Safety Management System (MSMS), which encompasses a suite of documents, including policies, standards, risk assessments and guidelines. Site Management, led by the appointed Site Senior Executive or Exploration Manager, is responsible for implementing these standards at the site level, ensuring consistency and thorough application.
